Hey! It’s Love a Blogger Saturday again! If you’ve missed out on the past editions, you can see Week 1, Week 2, and Week 3, and visit all those bloggers again! This week, however, we are introducing and honoring another round of the bloggers I love—so get your mouse ready, and get ready to start visiting!
I have been following Alexa for a long time—so it seems only right to include her in the list. Alexa offers the perspective of a young writer in her blog posts, and has been known to post character memes and a few honest points about being a writer. She also posts a few regular features—Melodic Mondays feature a song she likes, and it is through her that I learned “Love You Like the Movies” by Anthem Lights. Probably if you want to marry me just embody that song, good sir… Ahem, speaking of romance, Alexa also posts Shipping Saturday features, and let’s just be honest—is there anyone out there who doesn’t like gushing over their feels?
Alexa has a lot of stuff out there, but if you want to get to know her (not to mention her reading habits, you’re welcome to start with her Reader Problems Tag.
I am brand-new to Kat’s blog and I haven’t read much yet (but I have seen her mentioned so many places before, it was only a matter of time I’d get around to reading it). I’m basically going to steal her month recap, to some degree—for example, I’ll say that you could read the blogging interviews she’s shared (like those with Emily or Eve), or read her own writing, which has spurned from CreativeBlitz. I don’t actually know what that is, but Imogen has been talking about it a lot on Facebook, lately, and I just roll with it. She also has lots of blogging advice, like don’t delete all your comments on accident. It’s good advice.
If you want to get to know her, why not start by scouring the nitty-gritty of her life’s story?
(Also, Kat, I’m sorry if I don’t comment on everything but I anticipate more posts and I’ll comment on those, okay? Okay.)
Hm, now where have you seen this person before? OH, from Aimee’s guest post earlier this week!
That being said, I stand by my intro in that post and swear that Aimee finds perfect GIFs for everything, always, especially when it comes to MBTI things. Beyond that, Aimee reads a lot, and has lovely book recommendations, and also has a list of good Steampunk books to read. She also valiantly stood up for her right to dislike To Kill a Mockingbird (cue the applause) and has said some wonderful things about writing, as well. For example, you should support other writers, and have feels, and enjoy the romance in Pariah.
She’s also been known to talk a little bit about music—if you want to get a feel for her tastes, I’d recommend her Lyric Medley tag. It was great.
And that’s all for this week! THANK YOU Alexa, Kat, and Aimee for making such great blogs, and here’s to all your posts to come.
